Example #2New Mexico Teacher Retirement (“ERB”)

The proposed changes were drafted after a professional poll of about 400 teachers and school staff.   The poll found 58 percent of those surveyed might be willing to increase contributions by a half-percent to ensure the retirement fund is sustainable. About 47 percent of those polled said they would be willing to set a minimum retirement age of 60.
